How did that happen?

So I recently updated the Logo page and I felt a few viewers might be a bit confused or just curious about why there are two Wydgit logos on this page. This can easily be explained. The Wydgit Project is an ongoing product I plan to plan to roll out early next year. You can view the wydgit logo evolution here.

Food will help

Foodwill logo

I believe, as a designer and as a professional, that finding and building opportunities for others that did not exist without your intervention is our sole responsibility as a carrier of that knowledge. I owe it to my fellow man to find a way to contribute to the greater good, through design as my form of communication. With that mentality in mind, I set out to discover a way to give back. From that exploration came Foodwill. Foodwill is my way of giving something back. More information regarding Foodwill coming soon, but for now take a gander at the logo.

Raas for a Cause

raas for a cause logo

New logo design for a non-profit organization in San Francisco named Raas for a Cause. The website should be up by next week, and hopefully I can get shots of the letterhead up soon.

For those unaware what Raas might be, and why they want you to do it for a cause, it’s a form of dance performed in India to show celebration. Wikipedia does a much better job explaining it here, than I just did. Check it out, and maybe you can start a Raas in your neck of the woods.

I’ve held off starting my own blog for quite a while; four years to be exact. I just didn’t want to be part of the gratuitous blog scene that was so prevalent four years ago. But things have changed, mostly me. My path to here has not been one I imagined for myself when I graduated, yet it has been eventful and eye-opening to say the least. I will try to incorporate as much of the “story” as I can, but I must say being this open to the public makes me a bit queasy. Never-the-less, this is my start.
